My Roommate Is A Vampire Or Worse...

Anonymous Cunning Snitch #473 · General

So my roommate, let's call him Jake, is basically the poster child for college vampires. He’s like always sleeping when I'm awake and wide-awake at 3 AM when I try to study. But you know what? Last night he actually offered me a pillow. Like, seriously? What kind of vampire does that? It’s confusing. Is it possible there are just really nice vampires out there who don’t want my blood but do appreciate human snacks like pizza and coffee? And why do I care so much about him being awake when I need to get some sleep? I mean, he's not the worst roommate ever, we actually get along pretty well most of the time. But sometimes it feels like I'm living with a nocturnal ghost or something. Now I’m wondering if college dorm life is just secretly an experiment by some university to see how much humans can adapt to weird circadian rhythms. Or maybe Jake's not even a vampire, but he's still this sleep-walking ghost who wanders around the room talking in his sleep about random stuff like ancient Greek philosophy and what kind of cheese would taste best on pizza... It’s all very bizarre. I guess I just need some way to process that there are probably more weird things out there than I ever thought, starting with my own roommate's ungodly schedule.
