I Haven't Seen My Friend in Years...

I've been working from home for months now and my best friend lives down the street. We used to see each other every day before everything got so hectic. The other day, we crossed paths at a local cafe but I was too busy talking to myself about work stuff to really chat with her. It's sad how much distance an empty road can create.
