patient info slip-up

so i work night shift at the hospital and last week this guy came in real sick with a fever and stuff like that. he was coughing up something awful but had no idea what to do, so i got him settled and sent for docs to check him out. but then we had a bunch of new patients roll in right after and i forgot to update his info correctly on the system. thought everything was fine till the next day when i got an email from my supervisor asking why he wasn't getting proper treatment based on what he needed. turns out i didn't add all his symptoms properly and now im kinda stressing about it, wondering if hes okay. not a huge deal but feels like a big whoops moment.
