The Truth About My 'Sick Day'

I took a day off from looking after my kids because they were misbehaving like wild monkeys all week long, jumping on furniture, refusing meals, and generally driving me up the wall. So when I told everyone at school that I had to take care of them today, it was more about needing a break than anything genuinely ill. They won't be pleased but who cares? Sometimes you just need time for yourself.
