... I'm Not Quite Home Yet ...

So, I just moved to this new city... and it's pretty much everything everyone says about starting over in a fresh place. Exciting, kind of scary... but also really lonely. The thing is, the other day at work, I was talking with Sarah from accounting and she asked me if my apartment was all settled in and how I liked it so far. And, uh, well, I fibbed a little. Told her everything felt like home already, even though there's still stuff packed away... and I keep staring out the window at this big empty street instead of exploring more around here. So yeah, that kind of white lie to make myself feel better, pretending it’s all smooth sailing so far when inside it feels a bit rougher than that...
