i really did that

so like last week i was supposed to give this presentation for my seminar and i spent all week prepping it because it's super important for grad school stuff. but on the day of, right before class, i just got so nervous about messing up in front of everyone that i texted my friend jenny asking her if she could do a video chat with me to practice, you know? and then while we were talking, this thing happened where we both started laughing over something silly and i totally forgot all about the presentation! next thing i knew it was class time and there was no way to get out of it so i just walked in there feeling super guilty but also kind of relieved that maybe everyone else would be too nervous to notice. i swear, if jenny had only sent one more meme, i probably wouldn't have gone at all.
