My Secret Hoarding Habit

Anonymous Winking Meddler #456 · General

Ever since I was a kid, I've had this obsession with collecting seemingly useless items. Pens that don't work, half-empty bottles of nail polish, old newspapers, I can’t seem to throw any of it away! My apartment is a testament to my hoarding ways; the closet barely fits anything but more stuff I'm convinced will be useful one day. Last week, I even bought an entire box of unopened birthday candles because I couldn't resist the thrill of a bargain and thought they might come in handy someday. To add to the clutter, I've also developed this odd habit of holding onto every single receipt from purchases years ago, just in case. My friends tease me about it, but honestly, I'm pretty proud that I can find things at random times when others forget where they left their items. So, is it normal for someone my age to still be hanging on to every little thing? What should I do about the piles of junk taking over my place?
