Learning Piano Late in Life

So I started learning piano last month. My sister got me this old upright from her attic, and it's just been sitting here in my living room for weeks while I procrastinate. Today, I finally tried playing something, a simple little song I thought would be easy since I'm not exactly musically inclined. But man, my fingers are like sausages compared to pianists. It took me forever to even get the notes right, and it sounded awful when I did. And now everyone thinks I'm this big musical genius because they see that piano there all day long. They have no idea how clueless I really am. But I guess I'll keep at it... maybe next year I'll finally sound halfway decent.
