Another Boring Week at Work

So, here I am again, stuck in another week of monotony. My co-worker Sally just got a new laptop, and she's been bragging about it all day long. She’s showing everyone how cool her keyboard backlighting is, like it’s the greatest thing ever invented since sliced bread. Meanwhile, my old computer hums along quietly while I watch the clock tick away the hours. Today, in an act of rebellion against my boredom, I spent half an hour organizing all the pens in our office supply cabinet by color and brand. I mean, someone had to do it, right? But then I realized that as soon as Sally’s back from her lunch break, she’ll probably just use them all anyway. It's days like these when you start wondering if life isn’t really a series of endless meetings and coffee breaks.
