I Spilled a Beer Because I Had the Hots for My Regular Customer and Needed Advice

Okay, so here's the deal. I'm at this little bar in town that's kind of a regular hangout spot. It’s where everyone goes to catch up after work or relax on weekends. So it was just another Tuesday night when Alex walked through the door. Now, Alex is one of my regular customers and honestly, there's something about them that makes me feel all nervous and fluttery inside. You know how it feels like your heart might burst out of your chest? That's kind of what happens to me around Alex, but it also means I forget things left and right because I'm so distracted by them. Anyway, tonight was extra stressful for some reason. Maybe it had something to do with the fact that all my attention was on trying not to look like a total dork in front of Alex. Then things got even worse when I accidentally knocked over a pitcher of beer while trying to get behind the bar and serve them their drink. It was so embarrassing! Not only did I spill it, but now there's this awkward silence because my coworker is giving me one of those 'you're-being-an-idiot' looks. So here’s what I’m asking: Am I being ridiculous for getting so flustered around Alex? Is this just normal teenage crush stuff even though I'm way past that age bracket? Or am I really a hot mess and need to do something about my feelings, maybe talk to them or find some other way to handle the nerves? What would you guys do in my shoes?
