My Kids Think I'm Super Strong Because of a Stuffed Animal Fiasco

Last week, my four-year-old son asked me to lift his giant teddy bear onto the highest shelf in the house. I hoisted it up there with ease, and he looked at me with awe-struck eyes, calling me 'Super Dad.' Of course, nobody knows that this ‘mighty’ feat was really about moving a soft toy out of the way so they wouldn't trip over it every time they passed through our hallway. Now, I'm officially their superhero... for a stuffed bear.
