Got Promoted to Manager Without Even Asking

I started my job at this big corporate firm a few months ago, and I've been pretty heads-down with the work. My manager noticed that I was always willing to take on extra projects and help out the team when needed. One day, she called me into her office and surprised me by telling me I was getting promoted to assistant manager! It wasn't something I had really pushed for or even thought about until it happened. I'm so proud of myself for being recognized for my hard work and dedication, though. Sometimes things just fall into place if you stay focused and give your all.
