I'm an Impostor at Work

Hey there! I've got this silly confession that's been bugging me for a while. You see, at work, I play a persona, I dress up like the quintessential office worker, all buttoned-up and proper. But here’s the thing: my real personality is pretty quirky and laid-back. So sometimes, I feel like this fancy-sounding professional who wears suits just to fit in is an impostor. It's funny because deep down, I'm more of a t-shirt-and-comfy-pants kinda person. There was this one time when we had a company event where everyone had to give presentations about their projects, and I got so nervous that my usual laid-back self came out unexpectedly. Instead of sticking strictly to the script like other folks did, I went off on this tangent about how much more productive I feel in pajamas, complete with pictures from home! It ended up being a big hit, but it still leaves me wondering if I should just be myself at work all the time and ditch the façade. But hey, that would mean losing my secret identity as a proper office worker, which is kind of fun too.
