Why Do I Always Forget My Lock Combination?

So here's a weird thing that happened at school this week. Imagine you're in high school and your locker is like your second home, except it's not really because you never actually use the same lock combination twice. Yeah, that's me. The other day, I was trying to get into my locker right before homeroom started, but guess what? My combo had expired along with my brain cells. Now, I know what some of you are thinking, how do you even forget your locker combination? It’s like asking how you forgot to breathe while sleeping. But here's the real kicker: I actually have a method to this madness. Every week or so, I come up with a new combo that involves all my favorite snacks and movies combined into one easy-to-remember code. Like, 'Popcorn + Twizzlers = Sweet Victory!' Only problem is, by the time I get around to using it again, I've moved on to an entirely different set of food preferences and cinematic obsessions. Anyway, back to my locker debacle. So there I was, staring at this metal door with a giant X across it, completely clueless about what sequence of numbers might actually work. And you know how everyone is just like ‘Hey, let's be on time for once,’ but then they’re all standing around looking awkward because nobody can get into their lockers? That’s me in the front row, but with added embarrassment. I ended up having to borrow a key from Mr. Johnson, our guidance counselor who thinks he’s everyone’s best friend because he always has snacks and no one questions why there's always candy in his office. He gave me this look like I’d just walked into his office asking for college advice with ‘Popcorn + Twizzlers’ scribbled down on a piece of paper. So yeah, if you ever see me standing in front of my locker looking completely lost every few weeks, that’s why, and don’t even get me started on the time I accidentally set mine to 'Cats movie + Gummy Bears = Happy Dance!'
