The Great Coffee Caper

Oh boy, this week at work has been the epitome of boring! Same old meetings, endless emails, and more spreadsheets than you can shake a pen at. But guess what? I decided to spice things up with a little mischief on Monday morning. Our office coffee machine broke last Friday, and while maintenance was supposed to fix it on Monday, they forgot about us poor caffeine addicts until mid-afternoon. In their absence, I took matters into my own hands and ordered our usual brand of fancy coffee from an online store using the company credit card. Imagine my delight when the package arrived unexpectedly in a rush! But uh-oh, there was no way to get it through the front desk without raising suspicion. So here's the real juicy part, I had to sneak into the kitchen during lunchtime and hide the coffee under a pile of clean plates. Now imagine everyone’s faces upon returning from their lunch breaks to find fresh new bags of gourmet beans on the counter with a little note saying 'From an anonymous donor'. The look of confusion followed by sheer joy when they discovered it was legit made my week. I didn’t reveal myself, though, let them enjoy their surprise and speculate about who could have pulled off such a generous prank! I'll probably get away with it too because everyone's too busy sipping on delicious coffee to care much about where it came from. This has definitely been the highlight of my otherwise monotonous work week.
