Parental Woes and Curiosity

Anonymous Impish Gossip #313 · General

So I was watching my kids today, trying to figure out what they were up to on their phones. They're teenagers now, and honestly, it's like a whole new world out there that I don't get at all. Noticed them whispering over something called 'Discord' or 'Dsicord,' whatever it is. They have so many friends and connections, more than I had when I was their age for sure. But then again, back then we just shared mixtapes and letters in shoeboxes under our beds. So maybe this isn't that different? Anyway, one of them mentioned 'TikTok,' which is like Instagram but faster and more random. And I'm thinking to myself, how do they even find time for sleep? Must be exhausting scrolling through all those videos. I guess what I'm trying to ask here is: are my worries normal or am I just an old fogey clinging to the past? What would you guys do if your kids were into this stuff?
