i accidentally used my boss's special pen without asking

so i work at this pretty corporate place and they got these fancy pens for the bosses. apparently one of them is a bit more special than the rest, but no one really knows why or how it’s different. it just sits on my boss’s desk looking all shiny and important every day. well, today was just a boring monday and i had this big project due at noon. my pen ran outta ink super early into the meeting, and there was literally no way to get more without leaving the room for 20 mins which i couldn’t do. so i looked around, saw that special pen looking all nice and tempting and thought ‘just one quick jot’ but then it just kinda got away from me... i started writing a bunch of notes with this fancy pen, felt like a kid who broke into the candy store for some reason. it felt so wrong and right at the same time. but now that ink is dry, and the pen is back in its spot on my boss’s desk. i can tell from his facial expressions he knows something happened, and probably not what i want him to think... imma wait till he asks me about it though b4 owning up to this one. honestly don’t know if i’m the asshole for trying to get work done or shoulda just sucked it up with my regular pen
