Just Another Night on the Job

So here I am, staring at the clock again. 3 AM and there's this guy in aisle four who hasn't moved for like an hour, just staring at a box of cereal. I mean, it’s not even my favorite brand! Now, I'm thinking he’s either deep in thought or maybe he just forgot how to walk back home after work. Either way, it's getting kinda creepy and no one else around here seems to care. I tried the universal ‘accidentally bump into him’ trick to see if that would get him moving, but he barely flinched. So now I'm debating whether to go over there and ask if everything’s okay or just let security deal with it when they finally make their rounds in a few minutes. Either way, this is turning into one of those nights where you want nothing more than your bed and maybe a hot cup of coffee... or tea since I ran out of coffee already.
