I Am Nurse Know-it-all But Not Really

So I was working the night shift at the hospital and thought it'd be a great idea to start telling everyone that I know everything about medical conditions. Like, if someone comes in with a cough, I go all 'It's probably just allergies or maybe early-stage pneumonia.' And yes, I actually suggested that last one. But here’s the thing: when a doctor walks in and asks me what I think, my confidence vanishes faster than an ice cream cone in July. So my question to you folks is: Is it normal for someone with my job title to occasionally sound like they’re channeling Dr. House or am I just a walking medical drama? Let’s discuss!
