I Broke The Ice Machine

So yeah, I was working my shift at the hospital last night and we had this big ice machine. It's like a huge thing that makes so much ice it feels unnecessary. Anyway, I needed some for my water bottle but the chute was jammed with old ice cubes. So, without thinking too hard about why, I used a screwdriver to try and clear out the blockage. Next thing you know, bits of metal start falling into the machine as I'm trying to pry open the cover. And then it stops making ice completely! The maintenance guy came in this morning looking at me like 'What have you done?' Turns out my little fix cost us a few hundred dollars for repairs. But honestly, who knew an ice machine could be so fragile? It's not like I stole anything or broke into the pharmacy cabinet. Just...an unusual way to feel incompetent.
