My Secret Love for Cats and Detergent Fumes

Okay, so I know it sounds weird, but I secretly love cats and the smell of clean laundry detergent. Like really love them. My roommates don't get why I keep a stash of Febreze and catnip in my dorm. It's not just that I have two tiny kittens from the campus shelter, okay, fine, they're more like mine than anyone else’s now, but there’s something about the way clean air smells after spraying some scent into it that makes me feel like everything is okay and fresh starts are possible. And then when you add in those little moments of sneaking a bit of catnip for my kitties (because everyone loves a happy kitty, right?), well, let's just say it’s the perfect blend of cute and clean to get me through late-night study sessions. I guess what I'm saying is, if you ever find someone laughing maniacally while hugging their cats and spraying every inch of their dorm room with air freshener at three in the morning, that might be me trying to keep my spirits up.
