This Week's Lie at Work

I've been so uninterested and zoned out all week that I ended up making a tiny white lie. My boss asked if I had finished the report she needed for a big client meeting. The thing is, I barely even opened it since Monday because everything about work feels like such a chore right now. But instead of saying how bored or distracted I am, because let's face it, who wants to be known as the employee that has no spark in them?, I told her I finished 95% and just need one last check before sending it over. It was a small lie, but it made me feel bad for even an instant.
