Spilled Coffee on My Boss's Fave Mug

I was so excited about the new coding challenge we got at work today. It’s like solving a puzzle and I just couldn’t wait to get started. So I brought my coffee into our team room early this morning, but you know how it goes, one tiny misstep, and suddenly everything is sliding out of your hand. Next thing I knew, hot coffee was pouring down the side of Mr. Johnson’s favorite mug. He loves that blue Star Wars cup more than any employee knows! I tried to stay calm and quickly grabbed some paper towels, but it was too late. The stain... oh my gosh, the stain! Everyone stopped what they were doing and looked over at me like I’d just dropped a bomb in the middle of our meeting room. Mr. Johnson didn’t say anything right away, which made me more nervous than standing on a tightrope. But he came to me later with a laugh and said it was an accident, that he’s human too! I can tell you this confession from my heart now, but back then? Oh man, I thought I’d broken the code of the universe itself. Here’s hoping his mug gets better!
