The Day My Kids Outgrew Our Treehouse

Anonymous Nosy Imp #960 · General

I built our treehouse when my kids were little, thinking it would be a place for them to escape and dream. We’d spend hours there, building forts with blankets and eating snacks under the stars. But last week, as I watched them pack up their stuff and leave without me, I realized they had grown too big for that tiny space in our backyard. They still talk about how cool it is but never seem to want to go back anymore. It felt like a little piece of my childhood with them was slowly slipping away.
