I Started Making Model Cars Last Week and It's Already Ruining My Life

So yeah, I started making model cars last week. You know how people say hobbies can take over your life? Turns out it’s true. First thing Monday morning, I’m thinking about the perfect shade of red for my 1967 Mustang Fastback (not that you asked). And instead of planning work stuff, I'm plotting what kind of paint scheme will make my model really stand out on my shelf. My boss probably thinks I've gone mad because all I can talk about at meetings are tiny little tools and how much glue I need for this thing. Plus, every time someone mentions a trip to the mall or downtown, I'm like, 'Can we just go to the hobby store instead? They have so many cool car kits!' It's ridiculous, right? But here’s the kicker, my girlfriend thinks it’s cute at first, but now she’s rolling her eyes. She even tried helping me pick out a kit for our anniversary and ended up leaving before I could show her all my ideas. Maybe I should be focusing on other stuff too? Like how to get these damn wheels to fit properly without breaking them...
