When Being Tired Becomes an Art Form

I know I'm supposed to be the grown-up here, but let's just say my kids aren't the only ones who need naps. One day last week, while my little ones were having a playdate with their friends, I slipped into our bedroom and closed the door behind me. The moment of quiet was heaven-sent, I laid down on the bed, fully dressed, and in about 30 seconds, I was out like a light. It felt glorious. Sure, it's not exactly setting an example for my kids to see mommy napping midday, but when you're this tired, you find any excuse to catch some Zs. Now that I've made a habit of it, I'm wondering if anyone else does the same or if I should just come clean with them about my secret siestas.
