New Job Blues

Ever since I started my new job, every day feels like a roller coaster. The work is tough and the people are cold. Today at lunch, instead of joining everyone else in the break room, I ended up sitting alone by the vending machine, staring out the window at the rain while eating my sandwich. It’s lonely here, but maybe it's okay to feel this way? Maybe things will get better, or maybe I just need to find a place where I fit in more.
