Silly Hobby Surprised Me...

You know how they say you can't teach an old dog new tricks? Well, I just turned fifty and decided to learn magic... card tricks, mostly. It started off as a way to impress my grandkids, but now it's taking over my life! I've got decks of cards everywhere and spend hours practicing different sleights and shuffles. My wife keeps joking that I'll end up performing at the local pub or something. But seriously, am I being silly for getting so into this... Is it weird to be this excited about a hobby no matter how late in life you start? What do you guys think? Is there hope for an old magician yet?...
