I Skipped Class for Pizza and It Was So Worth It

Last week during my lunch break, I couldn't resist the all-you-can-eat pizza special at this new place downtown. My classes were back-to-back that afternoon, but I just had to take a chance and skip them. Sitting there with endless slices and soda, munching away on delicious pepperoni and sausage pizza, it felt like pure bliss. Sure, when my students walked in for class later, the room was eerily quiet without me, and they were surprised (some amused) by this unexpected occurrence. But let's be real, the memories of that heavenly feast still make every cell in my body happy. Plus, a couple of them confessed to ordering extra pizza to celebrate my absence secretly. Maybe it wasn't such a bad choice after all.
