Sometimes I Feel Old and Lost

I know it's silly, but every time I see kids playing with those modern toys or hear about all these new apps that seem to make everyone younger than me just click, it makes me feel a bit lost. Like there's this whole world out there I'm not part of anymore. My daughter was just telling me the other day how she downloaded some game and got hooked by it, but when I tried to understand what it was about, I couldn't get past the first level without feeling totally confused. And then there are these moments where I catch myself thinking back to my own childhood, you know? The way we used to spend hours just playing outside with nothing more than a ball and a bicycle. But those days seem so long gone now. Maybe it's because I've become less adventurous or maybe it's because the world has changed too much. I mean, don't get me wrong, I love seeing my kids grow up and learn new things. But there are times when it feels like I'm not growing along with them. And that worries me a bit. Is this normal? Am I just supposed to sit back and watch as everything changes around me or is there still room for an old dog to learn some new tricks?
