Sneaking Snacks Before Bed

So my little sister is obsessed with these fancy chocolate bars that she always hides. Last night, I was really hungry and couldn't sleep anyway, so I snuck into her room in the dark to take one. She woke up screaming, thinking it was a monster or something! Now everyone thinks I’m trying to scare her for fun or that I'm sneaking around late at night like some kind of weirdo. Mom gave me a lecture about respecting other people’s property and privacy. It's not like I planned any of this, but now I feel super guilty every time she looks at me with those big eyes! Not my proudest moment.
