Left the Cookie Jar Open

I left the cookie jar open last night because I was too lazy to close it after raiding its contents. This morning, my kids told me they found crumbs everywhere and even one of their toys covered in them. They asked if a thief came in while we slept, but I just rolled my eyes. The worst part is that now the cookies are gone and there's no evidence left, just a mess to clean up.
