Woke Up Late and Lied

Got called into work at 2 AM for a last-minute shift. Told them I was already there when I’d just gotten up from my break, still sleepy as hell. Knew it wasn’t the best thing to do but I needed those hours. Boss never even noticed how tired I looked or asked where I went during the day. Guess that means no harm done? Not proud of it, but hey, gotta take what you can get in this job.
