I Pulled A Prank On My Roommate's Study Schedule

So, here’s the deal. I’ve been living on campus for just a semester now and, let me tell you, it's been quite an adjustment from high school. Anyway, my roommate is this serious student type, always studying or hitting the books. You’d think with all that time in the library, he'd get sick of being there but not so much, every day at 7 PM sharp, he’s down there like clockwork for his 'study marathon' sessions. I mean, honestly, I can’t blame him for trying to be a good student or anything, it's just that it kind of grinds my gears every time. It’s not the studying part; if anything, I respect that work ethic. No, what really gets me is how he always leaves his snacks all over our room and never cleans up after himself. And then, when I come back from class late in the evening, here he is with his headphones on and books open wide, just staring at me like I’m interrupting his sacred study time. But this week? Oh boy, I decided enough was enough. Last night, while everyone else was out, I quietly packed up all of his usual snacks: chips, cookies, candy bars, he keeps them under the bed, and put them in a box marked 'Important Study Stuff'. And then guess what? When he got back from that 7 PM marathon session today and found his snacks missing, you should have seen the look on his face. Total panic! I had to laugh because there was no way I could tell him I took it as revenge for leaving messes everywhere. But here’s where things went sideways. He started calling every friend he knew looking for help finding these snacks and even asked around in the library if anyone had seen them. Poor guy must have been worried about me getting to them since we're roommates now. I mean, wouldn’t you be a little worried too? Anyway, it’s kind of funny how this all played out, but honestly? I’m not feeling guilty at all. If anything, seeing his face today made my day much better and more interesting than usual. So yeah, that's my confession, I stole my roommate’s snacks in retaliation for his messiness. And hey, maybe it taught him a lesson about cleaning up after himself from now on. Not that I’ll admit to the prank anytime soon.
