New Kid on Campus

Hey everyone! I just moved to this city and started at the local high school. On my first day, I had a total brain fart and accidentally introduced myself as 'John' instead of James in front of my whole class. Thankfully, they didn't laugh too hard or anything, but man, that was embarrassing. Any advice on how to make friends when you're new? What are some fun things to do around here? Let me know!
