I Don't Like Carpooling

Driving the kids to school this morning was a nightmare. I hate carpooling with another mom's kid in my car. And today, it turns out the other mom had forgotten her son's backpack at home again. Not cool, right? So there we are, halfway through and no books or snacks for him, while he keeps asking me if his class is going to notice he doesn't have anything. I told him to relax but inside I'm stressing over this whole situation. It feels like one of those days where everything goes wrong before it even starts. Not sure how I will get out of doing it again next week.
