The Great Coffee Experiment Fails

I've been working from home for a few years now and I pride myself on being efficient. One day, I decided to experiment with different coffee brewing methods to see which one would keep me most productive throughout the workday. So, I spent an entire morning trying out various techniques: French press, pour-over, cold brew, and even my new electric coffee maker that promised quicker results without sacrificing flavor. As you might have guessed, this wasn't exactly a practical use of time for someone whose job is entirely digital. The day was ruined, I missed crucial deadlines because I kept getting distracted by the endless process of grinding beans, measuring water, and adjusting settings. My productivity dropped so much that I ended up ordering takeout just to get some work done. I suppose it's a lesson learned: while good coffee can certainly enhance your mood and energy levels, there's such a thing as overthinking it, especially when you have actual deadlines hanging over your head.
