new city blues

moved to this new city for a fresh start like everyone says you should but honestly it feels kinda empty here. i have this one neighbor who seems cool though, always waving and stuff. i tried starting up conversations with her and ended up just rambling about the weather because what else is there to talk about when u don't know anyone? she looked nice and polite but probably thinks i'm a weirdo. it's been like two weeks now and still no real friends, everyone seems so busy or has their own group already. feel like a total outsider in my own house sometimes.
