The Middle Child Struggle

Sometimes I feel like my parents are so wrapped up in making sure my younger sister is happy and my older brother feels supported that they forget about me. Like, yesterday during family dinner, we were all going around sharing our favorite memories from summer vacation, but every time it was my turn to speak, the conversation would suddenly shift to something else. It's not like I didn't have great moments, my trip to the beach with friends was awesome! But you'd never know that by looking at how excited they got over little things my siblings did. It's hard when no one notices your big moments too.
