I Spy with My Little Eye

Okay, so this is kinda embarrassing but I need to get it off my chest. Last week at school during lunch, my friend Rachel and I were playing a little game of 'Guess Who' while we waited for our food in the cafeteria line. It's where you point out people you see from across the room without them knowing and make wild guesses about their lives based on what they're wearing or who they’re with. We were having a blast, but then I noticed Mr. Thompson, our math teacher, looking at us funny like he knew we were talking about him. The thing is, right before that, we had been going back and forth trying to figure out why he keeps a Rubik's Cube in his classroom and if maybe there was something else inside it (just kidding, I swear). Anyway, Mr. Thompson gave me this look like he saw straight through us, and the next day I didn't dare even crack a smile in class. Now everyone just thinks I’m obsessed with geometry or something.
