So yeah, I work from home as a freelancer, and it's... kind of gotten out of hand. One day, my neighbor's cat came into the apartment through an open window while I was on a video call with a client. Instead of freaking out about the furry intruder, I just kept talking to them about project timelines like nothing happened... And you know what? My colleague said it made for a great anecdote at their next team meeting! But seriously, when did my job become more important than the chaos around me?...
