Today's Deadline Was Yesterday

I've been working from home for months now, and it's great, no distractions, flexible hours, all that jazz. But today, I decided to lie about my deadline. See, the client wanted something done by today, but as you do when juggling too many projects, I pushed it back a day because... well, it was sunny outside and I felt like staying in my pajamas a bit longer. So instead of finishing up early and sending them their files, I sent them an email saying everything's all good for tomorrow morning. Now, every time the sun shines through the window, I get this twinge of guilt knowing there are deadlines that exist beyond my ability to ignore them.
