My Kids and My Late-Night Snack Schemes

So here's the thing. I've always been a big believer in sharing snacks with my kids, it's bonding time and all that. But lately, I noticed something odd, I’ve started sneaking into their rooms late at night to take some of their favorite snacks for myself. They’re not going to miss just one or two chips, right? Or so I tell myself. This feels weird even as I’m doing it because, honestly, the snacks are just snacks. But then again, those little moments of secret indulgence feel oddly satisfying. I’m trying to figure out if this is a harmless midnight snack grab for an exhausted parent or something more concerning. Am I secretly enjoying making them a bit upset in the morning when they can’t find their last chip? Is it normal to feel this way, or am I crossing some kind of line here? What do you think, am I just tired and hungry, or is there something deeper going on?
