My Night At The Bar Isn't As Glamorous As It Seems

So here's something I've been kicking around in my head for a while now. Last week, I was working my usual shift at the bar, serving drinks and trying to keep everyone happy on a busy Friday night. But one thing led to another with a customer who had too much to drink, and before I knew it, I ended up spilling their drink all over them when they tried to give me their coat as thanks for being such an 'amazing' bartender tonight. Yeah, that was about the time I should've put my foot down instead of accepting their advances. Instead of calmly telling him off or walking away like any sane person would have done, I accidentally knocked his drink onto him while trying to help with his coat. Of course, they were drunk and didn't seem too bothered by it at first. But after they stumbled out of the bar, I couldn't shake this feeling that maybe I shouldn’t have been so flattered when he said such flattering things about my skills. Now, every time a drunk customer starts talking about how amazing I am, it just makes me cringe instead of feel good. It's like I ruined this whole night in one clumsy move.
