I Am So Bad At This Job

Hey y'all, it's Lisa from the shoe department at SuperSneakers. Okay, so here's my confession: I can barely tell the difference between a sneaker and a tennis shoe most of the time. Yeah, I know, embarrassing right? I mean, I thought I was just having an off day when someone came in asking for running shoes and I recommended their basketball collection. Total blunder. But it happens more than once or twice. And to be honest, sometimes I just point to something hoping they'll like it! Now, don't get me wrong, I love my job, but this is getting ridiculous. Is this normal? Am I the only one who can't remember what cleats look like versus hiking boots? Any advice from fellow retail workers out there?
