My Artistic Blunders

So I was working on this really cool painting the other day, you know, one of those moments where everything just clicks and you feel like a real artist. But then, uh, my cat decided to jump onto the easel and smear his nose all over the canvas. At first, I thought it was a modern art masterpiece in progress, but after about 15 minutes, I realized it wasn't really going anywhere. Ended up with this weird abstract thing that looks like a mix between Jackson Pollock and a mud pie. My friends are still trying to convince me it's brilliant though. Anyway, speaking of cats, remember when my friend Sarah came over last week? She's always talking about how great her new job is at the bakery. Well, I was so impressed that I decided to bake some cookies for her as a surprise. Turns out, baking isn't exactly in my DNA. The result looked more like charcoal briquettes than cookies. So instead of handing them over with pride, I just sort of muttered something about being allergic and suggested we get pizza instead. Man, why do I keep thinking these things are good ideas? Maybe next time I'll stick to painting, at least there, the results might actually turn out decently if you squint a bit.
