Shifts Are Boring Sometimes

So, yeah, work today was kind of a drag. We had that one patient who’s been in for weeks now, and they’re just waiting on some test results to decide what to do next. It’s like Groundhog Day but with more IV lines and less optimism. Anyway, I decided to try out my new pen pal app, which is ironically the least exciting thing ever because you have to wait ages for someone else to message back when all you want to do is rant about your crappy shift. Anyway, long story short, I got so bored that I started sketching little doodles of nurses in funny outfits. Imagine if Florence Nightingale was actually a supervillain or something. Like, how would you describe a nurse with the face of an angel and the heart of stone? Yeah, it’s kind of a weird mental escape, but hey, at least no one can see my art skills are about as good as a toddler’s. I think my favorite so far is Nurse Deadpool, totally not a stretch if you’ve ever had a long, uneventful night shift.
