I Stole My Sibling's Prize Ribbon

You know that moment when you're feeling super jealous and your sibling gets some shiny new prize or award? Well, I had one of those moments last week. My brother came home from a big science fair with this huge blue ribbon for his volcano project. It was so cool, but I couldn't help feeling bitter because my own school project got barely any attention. So, while we were out at the park that evening and he wasn't looking, I snuck into our room to take the ribbon and hide it under my bed. I felt terrible after that though. The guilt was really weighing on me all week until I finally decided to give his prize back when he wasn’t around one day. I think I got away with it since he hasn't mentioned anything about losing it, but honestly, I feel worse now than before. It’s so petty and childish of me, but that doesn’t make the shame any easier to handle.
