When I Accidentally Took My Sibling's Spot in Gym Class

So here’s the thing, I’m the middle kid between my older sister and younger brother. Our family is pretty close, but sometimes we just get on each other's nerves like any sibling trio would. So yeah, you can imagine what it was like for me being stuck between two strong personalities. I have this tendency to take charge a bit too much because there’s always someone trying to assert dominance in the home, and I’ve got to find my place somewhere, right? Anyway, it all started when we were assigned new gym classes at school last year. There was this one class that everyone wanted, this advanced aerobics thing with super cool instructors. I don’t know if you can relate, but sometimes I get really excited about small things like that. Now, the twist? My brother had signed up for it originally because he thought it would be an easy way to score some gym credits. But when he found out how intense it was, he switched over to a different class thinking I’d probably end up in his original spot since I wouldn’t want it either. Here’s the kicker: I did want that spot. Really wanted it. So naturally, my first instinct wasn’t exactly noble, I just thought about how great it would be for me if he just gave it to me willingly and didn’t even think twice about it. But as days went by without him making any moves, I started to get a bit impatient. So one day, while we were supposed to meet up at the same time before class, I snuck into his room when he wasn’t home and switched our schedules on my phone, no big deal, right? We both had identical phones, so it wouldn't be hard for me to make changes without him noticing. It’s not like it’s a huge crime or anything. Long story short, I got the spot I wanted in that advanced class. He was pissed at first but eventually he got over it when I let him borrow my game console one day as compensation. The funny thing is, even though I felt bad for a bit, seeing how much better off I ended up makes me feel like there were no real wrongs done here. And that’s the confession: I swapped schedules with my brother to get into his gym class and kept it from him until he figured out what had happened. Not proud of being sneaky but hey, sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do for a good opportunity, right? I mean, if everyone does it once in a while, why should I be the only one who gets called out for it?
