The Spilled Drinks Confession

So like last night at work, I was pouring this gin and tonic for Sally, who's always been such a regular, you know? And suddenly my hand slips and it just goes *splash* right in front of me. Poor Sally is staring with these big eyes, thinking I'm an absolute klutz. But here's the thing: there's always been something about her that makes me go all jittery inside, you know what I mean? Like maybe a tiny crush or something. Anyways, after I clean it up (which takes forever because of course I spill water trying to mop up gin), Sally gives this little laugh and says she'll never order from me again if I'm that clumsy with her drinks! I try to joke back but inside, my heart is racing like a marathon runner just before the start. The funny thing? Today when she comes in and asks for another drink, I end up mixing it way too fast because all of a sudden I'm nervous about being slow again. Oh, and by the way, did you hear about how they're going to remodel the alley next week? Could be bad for business if people start taking their drinks outside instead. Yeah, yeah, back to Sally, she's sitting at her usual spot now with this new drink she ordered from Tom because he’s quicker. It feels like the end of a movie where you want a happy ending but it just doesn’t happen.
